Overview

The Technical Support Manager is looking for an experienced technician to perform and develop best in class repair procedures.  The primary responsibility of this role is to perform repair procedures that will be done every day in a regular dealership environment for both repair and maintenance.  This role reports to the Manager of Service Delivery 

Responsibilities

  • You will be part of a team working on developing service procedures on prototype and production level EV’s 
  • Develop database/matrix of technical support issues to support the field technicians 
  • Entire vehicle troubleshooting to help diagnose field repairs 
  • Must be proficient in understanding and developing diagnostic repair procedures for field repairs 
  • Must have a positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be an effective communicator and problem solver with the ability to produce creative solutions 
  • Be a self-starter who takes initiative and works effectively unattended in a team-based environment 
  • Must be able to follow precise work instructions, maintain accountability, effectively handle multiple priorities, and organize their workload to meet deadlines 
  • Be a clean and organized worker who maintains overall shop cleanliness and follows safe work practices 
  • A detail-oriented individual who strives to produce meticulous quality work and continually works to improve their craft  
  • Be willing to travel to support special vehicle projects, including Canoo offices located in Torrance, CA 
  • All tools and equipment will be provided 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Ability to work in a team and ready to play different roles

  • Experience working in agile teams 
  • Ability to achieve results under tough circumstances 
  • Great organizational skills and ability to multitask  
  • Automotive passion and experience  

Preferred Experience 

  • Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field 
  • Previous experience working in agile teams
