Provide technical leadership and engineering support in the area of vehicle dynamics and loads with actively collaborate with design teams to create world-class chassis systems, suspension designs, and control systems to support Canoo's business vision in the core field of Autonomous and to make EVs accessible to all.


  • Build Advanced ADAMS Vehicle Dynamics, Mechanism & loads complex Dynamics response models from Design Data to predict the Dynamic Stability & loads estimation to provide design direction for Components, Systems & Full Vehicle virtual prototypes
  • Guide and develop multiple Vehicle Design at concept phase, detail Design & testing phase to achieve the ride and handling targets
  • Use Robust Design and optimization tools for optimal design decision to achieve ride and handling targets
  • Correlate Dynamic simulations to tests & real-world user feel in Dynamics area
  • Participate in vehicle Drive and develop simulation techniques based on subjective to objective correlation
  • Continuously improve Dynamics simulation productivity through implementation of best practices and automation
  • Develop Design guidelines for suspension, steering, chassis, Control System & expertise in Design modifications to achieve first time right Dynamics performance
  • Define and Develop the Duty cycle (using RLDA) and generate the suspension Generic loads, Hybrid loads, and Virtual Road loads for Durability assessment. As well as provide the powertrain/motor Generic loads as necessary
  • Guide team members in advanced techniques of simulation to achieve the program targets
  • Responsible for CAE Vehicle Dynamics signoff and documentation
  • Evaluate / Purchase hardware, software & recommend / recruit people for Dynamics CAE team
  • Develop Control System co-simulation models to support SIL and HIL for ADAS simulation as necessary



  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Engineering Technology
  • Around 15+ years’ experience in Automotive Product Development in areas vehicle dynamics
  • Proficient user of ADAMS software and Motion view
  • Knowledge of CAE Software like Hyperstudy, Carsim, nCode, modeFRONTIER
  • Knowledge in suspension & steering modification to improve vehicle dynamics
  • Experience in 4-5 complete vehicle development projects in vehicle dynamics
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics regulations in USA & Europe
  • Knowledge of Dynamics CAE to Test Correlation
  • Knowledge of Ride and Handling Behavior
  • Knowledge of Technical Documentation
  • Knowledge of Dynamics testing methods and Dynamics measuring instruments
  • Knowledge of new emerging trend in Dynamics simulation and vehicle designs
  • Knowledge of Automotive Systems


  • Knowledge of competitor vehicle Suspension and Steering design
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing techniques
  • Knowledge of Material Properties, Stiffnesses
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver analysis results within a tight schedule in a collaborative team environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Creative mindset with the ability to create practical work-around solutions when necessary
  • Open-minded with a desire and aptitude to work in a team environment with individuals having diverse backgrounds and experience
