Overview

Oversee and coordinate technical manufacturing projects ensuring within and between synergies, and program targets and goals are achieved. Organize programs and activities to improve operational efficiencies, building long-term results and achievements for company projects, developing programs and project budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Target-oriented planning, implementation, introduction of production processes and production initiatives
  • Ensuring target achievement for production-relevant goals (deadlines, costs, quantities, process reliability, HPV, eHPV, quality and content)
  • Planning, monitoring, controlling and ensuring the execution of work packages in terms of performance, capacities, costs, deadlines and quality
  • Development of a project structure and process plan (work packages, deadlines, etc.) together with the Industrialisation PMO, as well as agreement of targets within the project organization
  • Analysis of the target and actual data during the course of the project and identification of needs for action, and proposed solutions to reach the targets
  • Introduction of production concerns into the project or other functional areas in the project (development support and other areas)
  • Commissioning of functional groups to investigate production alternatives
  • Coordination of manufacturing issues
  • Organize daily activities based on the goals of the organization
  • Devise new programs that support the organization’s objectives
  • Set sustainable goals for the organization
  • Work with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the operation and programs
  • Evaluate and assessing the programs’ strengths and weaknesses
  • Monitor projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met
  • Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
  • Work with peers and other department teams, to improve strategies

Representation of the product project with regard to production in the relevant committees:

  • As a member of committees representing production interests.
  • Regular information to Manufacturing teams

 

Adherence to the defined budgets:

  • Implementing project goals by means of target agreements with the technical and facilities teams
  • Initiating personal development and qualification together with the other Manufacturing leads
  • Define the work objectives and review the work results. Ensure development and qualification of employees regarding production and project work. Professional management of the production contact persons from the departments (including development)
  • Compliance with the conditions (process safety, quality, quantities, HPV, eHPV, cost, and morale)

 

The manufacturability of the products:

  • The short and long term ability to match performance targets to actual results
  • Assure the accuracy of financial and operating forecasts
  • Gather, analyze and communicate relevant information so that effective decisions can be made
  • Support product launches
  • Coordinate and help train others
  • A primary communication and assignment link within the Manufacturing teams

Qualifications

Required

  • Prefered Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • Grounded with experience and skills in operational program management
  • Program Management certified

Preferred

  • Experience with statistical analysis, work measurement and process analysis
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects
  • Demonstrated strong work-ethic, initiative, and strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in necessary tools (hardware and software)
  • Frequent travel between manufacturing, business, and supplier sites, including overnight
