Overview

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the talent acquisition candidate sourcing function. Duties include providing support to the Talent Partners and support candidate sourcing needs. The ultimate goal is to ensure the Talent Partner operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work on assigned requisitions to support the organization’s recruiting needs.
  • Utilize LinkedIn recruiter and other sourcing mechanisms to contact both passive and active candidates for open requisitions.
  • Act as a hunter and utilize creative methods such as social media to find great talent.
  • Follow up on leads to determine and source the best potential job candidates.
  • Identify and interact with candidates to develop talent pipelines.
  • Assist Talent Partners with follow-up activities.
  • Attend intake meetings to gain proper insight into the qualifications and skills needed for open positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a talent acquisition supporting the sourcing function for open requisitions
  •  Effective communication and demonstrated experience working with confidential information related to candidates and hiring practices
  • Ability to work with minimal direction while delivering quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, undefined environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated agility and flexibility to complete multiple tasks with changing priorities in an undefined environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and applicant tracking systems 

Preferred Experience 

  • Proficiency in iCIMS
  • Automotive and/or technology company experience
