Design and develop state-of-the-art Electronic Chassis Systems and their interactions with Powertrain and ADAS, covering a variety of engineering tasks.


  • Lead vehicle activities including chassis feature development, calibration, data logging and testing including regulatory/homologation tests
  • Collaborate with the Vehicle Dynamics team to ensure vehicle performance targets are met
  • Conduct issue investigation
  • Define and manage system, software, and controls requirements for Chassis systems through the design and validation phases
  • Support the definition of Diagnostic DTC’s, service routines, bootloader specifications
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of software and relevant documentation and manage open issues to closure
  • Maintain Design Verification Plans (DVPs), support development of test cases, and coordinate execution of verification tests throughout program milestones (HIL, SIL, Vehicle testing)
  • Support the definition of Functional Safety deliverables according to ISO26262 and Failure Mode Analysis
  • Maintain system architecture and interfaces with ADAS and Powertrain, ensuring integration of Chassis systems with other Vehicle controllers and compatibility with Network design
  • Provide technical inputs to the legal and homologation teams



  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical/Software/Controls Engineering or Equivalent
  • 4 or more years’ experience of Chassis Systems Development, Calibration and Control Software Development (Stability Control, Steering, Braking or Suspension / Damping)
  • Knowledge of Braking and/or Steering components and features
  • Knowledge of Automotive Diagnostic DTC’s and service routines
  • Experience with CAN-based tools for testing, data logging, feature calibration, and issue investigation
  • Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics, ADAS systems, and Powertrain
  • Experience in requirements and test cases definition for safety critical Chassis Systems (DOORS, Polarion or similar)
  • Experience in system validation and HIL testing
  • Previous exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Failure Mode Analysis


  • Experience in architecture definition and system integration for automotive application
  • Experience liaising with suppliers for SW development and issue resolution
  • Understanding of automotive homologation and regulatory requirements and testing for Chassis systems
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite
