Overview

Canoo is looking for an energetic, results-oriented National Accounts Lead that desires an exciting career in the Electric Vehicle Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead national accounts business plan, which may include a mix of both brick & mortar and online
  • Build and maintain relationships with tire, battery, glass partners/suppliers that will be part of our service network
  • Work with partners/suppliers to manage distribution and establish support marketing programs that will help grow the Canoo after-sales business
  • Negotiating and managing customer contracts, including pricing and promotions
  • Providing strategic insights and understanding of customer requirements
  • Develop business reviews to ensure quality financial and performance at a routine interval
  • Effectively forecast demand on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis
  • Identify and appropriately target revenue growth opportunities

Qualifications

Required 

  • 4+ years’ experience in national account management. Automotive experience preferred. 
  • Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and/or business processes
  • Hands-on industrial experience in an automotive environment, either in hardware/product design or process development
  • Demonstrated experience in implementation across cross functional projects.
  • Ability to understand and communicate needs of all stakeholders including technical teams to drive alignment and successfully achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity
  • Maintain highly organized project plans and prepare presentations for varying audiences
  • Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability to proactively identify problems, misalignment with brand standards and foster creative solutions between internal and external team
  • Proactive and assertive leadership abilities and keen decision-making skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment

Preferred 

  • Able to effectively work both individually and within a group in a high-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of quantitative and statistical approaches to business analysis related to revenue analytics and revenue optimization
  • Have a passion for sustainable transportation and changing the automotive industry
