The driver monitoring system (DMS) is an essential feature in the automatic driver assistance system (ADAS). The DMS algorithm engineer solves many challenging problems using Computer Vision (CV) and Deep Learning (DL) approaches and develops algorithms/models to deliver DMS SW. The advance of DMS technology could provide safer autonomous driving vehicles. 


  • Understand the state-of-the-art CV/DL algorithms/models for rapid prototyping.
  • Develop and implement CV/DL algorithms/models include but not limited to object detection, keypoint detection (face, eye, body), pose estimation (face, body), gaze estimation, sleepiness detection, face recognition, facial expression recognition, and action recognition.
  • Conduct evaluation of algorithms/models/modules.
  • Participate data collection, preprocessing, labeling, testing, and analysis for CV/DL algorithms/models.
  • Participate product development life cycle of ADAS: requirements, architect/design, implementation, testing, and deployment to target embedded platforms. 


Required Experience 

  • Master's degree in CS/EE or a related technical field
  • 2+ years industry experience in at least one the followings: DMS, deep learning for CV applications, ADAS/AD, or face biometrics.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Experience in Deep Learning model development for Computer Vision applications.
  • Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with SW testing tools, SW versioning tools (Git).
  • Self-motivated, comfortable operating without direct supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communications


  • PhD degree in CS/EE or a related technical field
  • Top conference/journal publications
  • Experience in automotive industry
