Overview

The purpose of this role is to consolidate in MS Project all high level tasks from Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality and R&D efforts.  The high level tasks/goals should roll up for a quick view but be detailed enough to target areas that need improvement at a granular level.  Constraints must be visible in the timeline and confirmation (audit) of progress by each department validated.  The end goal should have all tasks linked to critical path and guide the teams to focus on what is priority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain twice weekly timeline updates for the overall program scope
  • Conduct physical and or virtual audits to confirm progress stated by each department
  • Analize and present bottleneck scenarios, critical path and roadblocks weekly to the leadership team
  • Identify gaps in the individual timing plans from each department
  • Challenge timing durations for accuracy and ensure detailed plans are efficient and accurate
  • Working with each department identify and develop work around plans to achieve the milestones set in the base timeline

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education preferred in the Industrial Engineering field
  • Experienced in full product to plant launch activities and tracking
  • Automotive knowledge of design, build through production ramp up
  • Firm but fair interface with other functional leaders within Canoo
  • MS Project Expertise
  • Must be able to travel from plant to plant and physically audit the progress, this may required walking for more than 4 hours at a time.

 Preferred Experience 

  • Experience with any OEM automotive firm during a new plan/product launch
