Internship for Advanced Manufacturing

• Collaborating with Shop Leads (GA/BIW/Paint/Battery) & VI team to develop MBOM from current EBOM
• Collaborating with manufacturing engineers to design and implement tooling solutions according to company standards
• Developing prototypes tools in CAD for potential designs in accordance with ANSI standards
• Participating in and contributing to tool design reviews
• Coordinating current project status with team members and project managers
• Documentation and updates of changes in project status and direction

• Experience in CAD software such as CATIA, NX as well as experience in creating GD&T drawings for components
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & Design for Assembly
• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for meetings and communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in issue tracking software such as Jira as well as software versioning tools such as Git
• Work in extra-curricular teams such as Formula SAE/Solar Car is considered an asset
• Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python for data analysis

Minimum Qualification:

Working of Mechanical Engineering degree or Computer Science Degree
