  • Coordinate and collaborate with senior leaders to create and inspire a safety culture based on HSE safety system focused on  continuous improvement across the organization
  • Monitor HSE related legislation and trends to understand potential impact to the business
  • Support development and execution of the HSE strategy, standards, policies, and detailed plans.
  • Monitor and report environmental and emissions data to satisfy emissions reduction efforts
  • Identify and implement emissions reduction initiatives
  • Manage and develop the HSE staff by providing challenging assignments, achievable and motivational development, plans, and candid feedback to help employees achieve career goals.
  • Document metrics and analysis of HSE statistics
  • Evaluate Incidents and trends and establish programs for improvement based on lessons learned.
  • Provide updates on HSE performance to company leaders
  • Remain current on appropriate benchmarking methods and industry best practices.


  • OSHA Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 10+ years related work experience
  • Experience with and detailed knowledge of automotive development, manufacturing and operations
  • Strong knowledge ESG trends
  • Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards related to HSE (OSHA, DOT, PHSMA, EPA, ISO, NEBOSH, HazMat, )
  • Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated, with strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills including strong writing skills.
  • Ability to effectively work within multidisciplinary team
  • Able to think both strategically and tactically with ability to solve problems.


Strong business acumen with ability to proactively identify and test new ideas and innovations for potential application on company assets
