The EVSE Design Release Engineer will lead the design, development, and sourcing for the EVSE for all relevant global markets. This role will lead in gathering, negotiating, updating, and documenting requirements for the products and will act as the single point of contact with the supply base. DRE shall ensure the product satisfies all regulatory and Canoo requirements. The DRE will also be responsible to achieve business initiatives for safety, warranty cost, and quality.
The battery test and validation engineer’s purpose is to plan and execute battery tests as per the design validation plan. The battery systems test engineer will develop and execute test plans to verify Canoo battery systems and components meet the design requirements and regulations. This is an in-lab and hands-on position; we are looking for engineers with previous experience in a design or test engineer environment.

You will provide technical direction and guidance for optimal Thermal Systems and Thermal Components design and sizing for a variety of vehicles and platforms such as our Lifestyle Vehicle, MPDV, Pickup Truck, and others.

The Embedded Software Engineer will develop real time low level embedded software for power conversion systems and communications. This position will be responsible for the design and development of software for embedded control for Level 3 charging on the On Board Charger for Canoo’s electric vehicles.
