The Cloud Security Engineer will be an integral member of the Cloud Security team focused on Canoo’s overall Cloud Security posture, DevSecOps, Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM), detailed technical standards and playbooks, and implementing tools to improve the security of cloud workloads. The Cloud Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud security solutions within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), , Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other cloud-based SaaS providers.

The Canoo Mega/Micro Factory Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high tech, proprietary vehicle manufacturing operations. This includes production management, quality control, cost reduction, safety and compliance, personnel management, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Manufacturing Industrial Engineer (IE) is responsible for the planning of direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing, and production line simulation. A qualified candidate will utilize lean concepts to identify/eliminate waste and perform time/motion studies. This position will support the manufacturing department with technical services to maintain efficient levels of lean manufacturing and manning. The Industrial Engineer is the architect of the shop methods and processes, and the representative of Manufacturing in Canoo vehicle Programs. The Industrial Engineer must ensure the feasibility of the products, prove and guarantee the buildability of the products, in the trail builds, and series production, for launch through to the long-term capacity of the system. The Industrial Engineer supports, create the methods, processes, and capacities of the total production process.
Digital Process MES Engineer will work closely with the Manufacturing Project team to assure all Manufacturing Processes have been documented and can be implemented in Canoo MES system. This position will also be involved with sustaining and maintaining the MES system after implementation. This is a hands-on role hence programming experience is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with the MES system integrator during implementation and will be held accountable for supplier management for the allocated area (Body Shop, Paint Shop or General Assembly). Automotive manufacturing MES experience is crucial for this role. On launch of the new facility the position holder will be responsible to address and rectify any matters that require attention prior the final production, assuring minimum machinery downtime and high equipment efficiency. Future continuous improvement projects will be essential to sustain the world class excellence.
