We are looking for a motor calibration engineer with automotive experience and experience in motor controls related topics. The eDrive Calibration Lead will be responsible for leading the team of calibration engineers supporting multiple eDrive products. The team will work closely with controls engineers on the validation and optimization of in-house controls implementation. The Lead will develop processes and test procedures for the confirmation and release of code/calibration packages to vehicle programs. The team will support testing and development at the vehicle level and be front line for issue resolution related to eDrive products.
The Controls team at Canoo is responsible for all the controls related aspects in the Canoo vehicles, among them, the dynamics modeling, algorithm design, and controller implementation for switching power converters.
Canoo is seeking a power electronics controls engineer to join the team in developing high-performance controls for a wide spectrum of ac and dc products including chargers, grid-tied inverters, and resonant dc-dc converters. The DRE will be fully responsible for delivering Thermal components in line with program timing. A high level of CAD skills are essential for this role.

They will help to develop initial requirements and specifications for handing off to design release engineering team. Additional hands-on work will be required for evaluating new technologies
The Battery Cell Expert will work with the Cell Lab to evaluate samples from incoming shipments and new proposed products. They will also stay up to date on developing cell technologies and interact with suppliers to understand impacts. They must be able to communicate information and work with different teams in the company to understand cell capability needs.
The Display Engineer is responsible for delivering a fully validated display and control system for a production vehicle program.
As a Lead CAD Designer in the Exteriors team, you will be responsible for developing CAD for various exteriors commodities, including, but not limited to, Class A parts like Fascia, Wheel Claddings, Door Claddings, Side Sill, Cowl, Spoiler Liftgate and supporting structural parts etc. with an approach of build to print. You will lead the CAD development activities from initial concept stage to production.
The battery development test engineer’s purpose is to continuously improve test capabilities of the Canoo battery laboratory through the development of new hard and soft tools to support testing. The battery development test engineer will also design and execute tests to explore battery boundary conditions and in general support the day-to-day operations of the battery lab. This is an in-lab and hands-on position; we are looking for engineers with previous experience in a design or test engineer environment.
